About the role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Commissioning Home Manager to lead the launch of a brand‑new, purpose‑built care home in Hextable. You will be the face of person‑centred care, guiding the home from construction through its first regulatory inspection.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and develop a new multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with the new‑build projects team and support services to ensure a smooth opening.
• Drive community engagement and marketing to achieve high occupancy.
• Implement quality‑focused care processes and oversee daily operations.
• Prepare the home for its first inspection and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in opening or managing a new‑build care home.
• Strong track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Experience engaging with local communities and promoting a care facility.
