Commissioning Home Manager – Luxury Care Home Launch

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning Home Manager to lead the launch of Hollybank Care Home, a brand‑new 66‑bed luxury facility in Middleton‑on‑Sea, West Sussex. You will own the end‑to‑end commissioning process, from recruitment and mobilisation to occupancy growth and regulatory readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all pre‑opening commissioning activities, including recruitment, onboarding and operational mobilisation.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team, embedding company culture and values from day one.
• Establish strong referral routes and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy targets.
• Prepare the home for its first CQC inspection and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Drive commercial success through occupancy growth, cost control and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience launching and commissioning residential or nursing care homes.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and healthcare quality standards.
