Communications Coordinator – Human Rights

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Communications Coordinator to join a small, collaborative team within an innovative human‑rights organisation. Working closely with the Director, you will create dynamic content for the website and social media, helping to amplify the organisation’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish impact stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Write, edit and distribute content across social media platforms, the website and press releases.
• Manage the organisation’s social media presence and engage with followers.
• Design visually appealing materials using Canva for stakeholders and external outreach.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Passion for human rights, social justice and handling sensitive content.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and comfortable collaborating with a small team.

• Salary range £29,000‑£32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
