Communications & Events Intern

About the role

Fine Tune Magazine is seeking a passionate Communications & Events Intern to support the launch of its first print issue and the accompanying Fine Tune Day Party. This hybrid, 2.5–3 month internship offers hands‑on experience across communications, editorial production, marketing and live‑event planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day communications and event administration.
• Manage inboxes, follow up with artists, freelancers, partners and collaborators.
• Coordinate schedules, maintain project timelines and assist with guest lists, RSVPs and logistics.
• Attend marketing, PR and production meetings, taking clear notes and action points.
• Assist with press outreach, media list creation and social‑media content coordination.
• Help with editorial production for the first print magazine.
• Research venues, suppliers, talent and creative partners as needed.
• Ensure smooth execution on the launch event day.

Required profile

• Loves music, culture and independent media.
• Organised, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident sending professional emails and following up.
• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
• Eager to learn and ready to take on varied responsibilities.
• Interest in events, PR, publishing, marketing or creative production.
