Communications Executive – Charity Sector

About the role

The Talent Set is partnering with a community‑focused charity to find a Communications Executive. You will develop and deliver communication strategies that engage audiences and strengthen the organisation’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear, compelling content for digital, print and social media channels.
• Support planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns.
• Assist with events, initiatives and stakeholder‑engagement activities.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent messaging aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage media enquiries and maintain up‑to‑date media contacts.
• Track media coverage and support media‑relations efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications, media or public relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Good judgement, interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital platforms.
• Experience using social media management tools.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per year.
