Communications Specialist (EMEA)

About the role

The Communications Specialist will drive Infor’s brand awareness across the EMEA region, focusing on public relations and earned media. Working closely with senior leaders, marketing teams and external PR agencies, you will translate complex technology topics into clear, compelling stories that resonate with regional audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Execute PR initiatives across EMEA, prioritising earned media and brand visibility.
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters and publications throughout the region.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and shape technical stories for press coverage.
• Develop creative approaches to make complex technology topics relevant to external audiences.
• Support regional marketing campaigns and coordinate with external PR agencies to ensure consistent messaging.
• Track, measure and report PR performance metrics in partnership with agencies.
• Ensure all communications comply with Infor and Koch policies and standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in public relations or communications, either agency or in‑house.
• Proven track record of securing earned media through established press relationships.
• Ability to work directly with senior leaders and translate technical topics into clear media stories.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills in English.
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting PR metrics.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and working cross‑functionally.
• Full professional proficiency in German (preferred).
• Experience in technology, enterprise software or similarly complex industries (preferred).
