Community Care Assistant – Driving Role in Bromley

About the role

This is a combined driving and care position based in the London Borough of Bromley. You will travel between clients’ homes, providing personal care and support to help older people live safely and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Drive between clients’ homes within Bromley using your own vehicle.
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support medication administration and meal preparation.
• Perform light domestic tasks and offer companionship.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing of service users.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work a rota that may include weekends.
• Good spoken English.
• Reliability, kindness and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Own car.

What we offer

• Guaranteed contracted hours – part‑time or full‑time, flexitime.
• £14.25 per hour (paid travel time and mileage).
• Minimum 30‑minute visits, no rushed 15‑minute calls.
• Paid shadow shifts and fully funded qualifications (Care Certificate, Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care).
