Community Care Assistant (Driving Role)

About the role

This permanent position combines driving and personal care duties within the London Borough of Bromley. You will travel between clients' homes, providing essential support that enables older adults to live safely and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safely between client residences using your own vehicle.
• Deliver personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with medication support and monitor adherence.
• Prepare meals and perform light domestic tasks.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and promote dignity.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work a rota that may include weekends.
• Good spoken English, reliable, kind, and positive attitude.

Required skills

• Ability to drive locally and manage travel time.
• Basic understanding of personal care and medication support.
