Community Champion – Premier League Inspires

About the role
The Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation is seeking a Community Champion to deliver the Premier League Inspires programme across secondary schools in Sussex. Working 21 hours a week on a permanent part‑time basis, you will use sport‑based learning to inspire personal development, mental health awareness and career aspirations among young people.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver cross‑curriculum classroom sessions focused on wellbeing, mental health and future pathways.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group mentoring to support students, including those with SEND or SEMH needs.
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every pupil feels heard and valued.
- Maintain administrative records, track pupil progress in the Foundation’s data systems and liaise with school staff and internal colleagues.
Required profile
- Strong rapport with young people and ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds.
- Calm under pressure, pragmatic problem‑solver and collaborative team player.
- Passion for the transformative power of sport and education.
