Community Champion – Premier League Primary Stars

About the role
As a Community Champion you will use the power of football to educate and inspire primary‑school children across Sussex. Working from the Foundation’s Brighton office and visiting schools, you will deliver engaging physical‑education sessions and extracurricular clubs that promote wellbeing and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE and cross‑curricular lessons that integrate PSHE, literacy and numeracy.
- Lead “Projects for Positive Change” within primary schools across Sussex.
- Run lunch and after‑school clubs, focusing on increasing girls’ participation through the PlayHers initiative.
- Build positive relationships with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with SEND or SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and the Foundation to ensure programme quality and impact.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, passionate about using sport to improve lives.
- Experience working in sport or education settings.
- Ability to engage children of all abilities, including SEND and SEMH.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
