Community Coordinator (Colleague Host)

About the role

This role is the welcoming face of Compass UK & Ireland, responsible for creating a warm and engaging workplace experience for colleagues and visitors. As the official “Colleague Host”, you will build trusted relationships, anticipate needs, and champion continuous improvement across the office.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional first‑impressions and customer service to all visitors and staff.
• Drive colleague engagement initiatives and organise community‑building campaigns.
• Conduct daily site checklists, monitor health & safety, and promptly address hazards.
• Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring cleanliness and functional equipment.
• Gather feedback, respond to concerns, and support continuous improvement of workplace services.
• Collaborate with internal departments and local partners to promote engagement activities.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to anticipate needs.
• Customer‑service mindset with a passion for creating a supportive environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours within a shift rota (7 am‑7 pm).
