About the role

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Band 6 Community Dietitian to join the West Quadrant Community Dietetic Service. This part‑time, fixed‑term position provides continuity of dietetic care from acute hospital admission through to community follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver dietetic care to in‑patients at Vale of Leven Hospital.
  • Conduct community follow‑up visits, including home and care‑home visits.
  • Provide home enteral feeding support and general community clinic services.
  • Work collaboratively within the West Quadrant Community Dietetic Team.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, quality‑improvement projects, and student placement supervision.

Required profile

  • BSc in Human Nutrition & Dietetics.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Interest and experience in both acute and community dietetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
