Community Manager – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are partnering with a culturally‑led marketing agency to find an experienced Community Manager to join their social team in London. This hybrid role will lead community strategy and hands‑on engagement for consumer brands in the alcohol and soft‑drink sector, driving brand conversation beyond owned channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across multiple brands and platforms, shaping distinctive brand voices.
• Monitor social channels, cultural moments and real‑time conversations, joining discussions in a human, relevant, on‑brand manner.
• Track engagement, sentiment and performance metrics, translating data into actionable insights.
• Identify, nurture and mobilise brand advocates to generate earned conversation and awareness.
• Support crisis response planning and manage sensitive feedback calmly and professionally.
• Contribute to agency social channels, new‑business pitches and overall community‑management thought leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of community‑management experience, either agency‑side or in‑house.
• Social‑first mindset with a passion for community as a strategic discipline.
• Strong cultural awareness and curiosity about online conversations.
• Excellent written communication and a confident, warm voice.
• Calm, fast‑thinking approach in reactive moments.
• Open to non‑traditional career paths; specific brand names not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social listening tools, preferably Sprout Social.
