Community Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Occupational Therapist to join a well‑structured, dynamic team in Wokingham. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time contracts, the possibility to work from home, and a manageable caseload with ongoing training.

Key responsibilities

• Assess service users and carers with complex needs within their home environment.
• Provide expert advice on equipment, home modifications, and moving & handling assessments.
• Develop strategies to reduce or minimise the need for care packages.
• Maintain awareness of safeguarding vulnerable individuals and uphold dignity and respect.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist in a community setting.
• HCPC registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (can be obtained).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Manual handling expertise.
• Equipment and home‑modification assessment.
