About the role

The Community Services Driver Operative supports residents by providing transport from home and delivering meals directly to their door. You will join a professional team that values a person‑centred approach and offers training to help you succeed in this vital community service.

Key responsibilities

• Transport residents safely using accessible vehicles as part of the Transport from Home service.
• Deliver meals to customers' homes, ensuring timely and courteous service.
• Maintain accurate records of journeys, deliveries and vehicle checks.
• Work independently while coordinating with the wider team to meet service demands.
• Adhere to health, safety and company policies at all times.

Required profile

• Background in community support services or a similar caring environment.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong people skills and a commitment to delivering a respectful, person‑centred service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Valid D1 driving licence for accessible vehicles.
• Driving experience with a clean record.
