Community Staff Nurse – Band 5 (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join the Keith/Fochabers District Nursing Team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working 28 hours per week, you will provide person‑centred nursing care across the community, supporting a dynamic 7‑day service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive community nursing care to patients registered with Keith Health Centre and Fochabers Medical Practice.
• Provide assessments, medication administration, wound management and health education in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate equally in the delivery of the service across all seven days of the week.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to NHS Scotland policies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC) at Band 5 level, enthusiastic and motivated.
• Friendly, flexible approach with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the specific requirements of community nursing.
