Community Staff Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Community Staff Nurse to join our 24‑hour, 7‑day Community Nursing Service across the Fife‑wide division. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care in patients’ homes and community settings, supporting the team to meet the needs of local residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments, treatments and health education to patients in the community.
• Work flexibly across weekends, public holidays and evenings as required.
• Cover additional areas within the Fife‑wide division when service demands arise.
• Travel throughout the locality to deliver care and respond to urgent needs.
• Collaborate with the Community Nursing Team to maintain a high standard of service.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current registration.
• Demonstrated experience in community nursing.
• Enthusiastic, excellent communication and strong clinical expertise.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to travel across the assigned locality.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
