About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team in Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will provide direct, person‑centred care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions, helping them live as independently as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication management.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans, promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Monitor health, behaviour and needs, reporting any changes to relevant professionals.
- Engage clients in social and community activities to enhance quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records of care delivered and progress achieved.
Required profile
- Minimum six months experience in a similar health‑care or social‑care role.
- Understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
- Empathetic, caring attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to care standards.
