About the role

NurtureCare is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to support a soon‑to‑be 18‑year‑old male client with complex health and additional needs in his home. The role involves providing daily personal care, medication administration and routine support within a quiet environment.

Key responsibilities

Perform chest management as required.
Carry out moving and handling tasks using a hoist and slide sheets.
Assist with morning and night‑time routines, including personal care, dressing and washing.
Administer prescribed medication safely.
Support the client with eating and drinking.

Required profile

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Required skills

Chest management.
Moving and handling, including use of hoist and slide sheets.
Medication administration.

Support

Induction and ongoing training from a dedicated training team.
24/7 on‑call line for guidance and assistance.
