Compliance Data Administrator – Safer Homes Officer

About the role

The Hyde Group is seeking a Compliance Data Administrator (Safer Homes Officer) to support its Safer Homes programmes in Chichester. You will ensure that safety‑related data is accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant with statutory and policy requirements, helping to keep homes safe for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Safer Homes databases, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Process, check and analyse certification and programme information, flagging gaps or risks.
• Produce reports and dashboards for contract monitoring and performance analysis.
• Assist Contract Managers with safety programmes covering gas, electrical, fire, asbestos and other property compliance workstreams.
• Lead on no‑access and referral cases, coordinating with residents, contractors and internal teams.
• Monitor statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations, driving issues to resolution.
• Provide administrative support such as raising work orders, processing invoices and maintaining clear records.

Required profile

• Experience in administration, data management, compliance, housing or property services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues early.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Confident communication skills for interacting with residents, contractors and colleagues.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
