Compliance Engineer (LEV / Occupational Hygiene)

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Engineer to join a specialist environmental and occupational health consultancy serving clients across the South of England. The role involves conducting Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) assessments and broader industrial hygiene monitoring to ensure workplace health and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform LEV assessments and evaluate ventilation systems on client sites.
• Carry out industrial hygiene monitoring, including air quality testing, noise and vibration assessments, electromagnetic field measurements, and hazardous substance monitoring.
• Produce technical reports and environmental assessments for a range of industries.
• Support clients in improving occupational health and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial hygiene, LEV engineering or occupational hygiene role.
• Relevant qualifications such as P601, BOHS or other industrial hygiene credentials (advantageous but not essential).
• Technical background in engineering, chemistry, environmental science or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the South of England; preferably based near London, Coventry or Northampton.
