Compliance Manager – Gas & Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join a leading social housing contractor. You will lead compliance excellence across gas, electrical and repairs contracts, ensuring all work meets statutory and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all operatives and supply‑chain partners hold current qualifications, including Gas Safe registration and relevant insurances.
• Supervise projects, inspections and audits to guarantee full legal and regulatory adherence.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, contractors and residents, providing expert technical support.
• Champion safety, drive KPI performance, and oversee improvements to policies and systems.
• Produce monthly performance reports covering KPI productivity, legislative requirements and gas servicing data.
• Ensure every property complies with statutory and non‑statutory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ management experience in compliance within housing, gas or building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of GSIUR, HASAWA, CDM, Building Regulations and ISO standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS, ACS Gas (Domestic/Commercial) and Asbestos Surveying (desirable).
• Level 4 or higher technical/building qualification.
• Proficiency with ICT systems, data reporting and project governance.
