Compliance Officer / Junior Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a leading UK law firm, is expanding its Risk & Compliance team and seeks a Compliance Officer/Junior Analyst. Working hybrid, you will join a group of new‑business intake analysts responsible for conflict and AML checks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conflict searches using dedicated database software and analyse results in depth.
• Conduct client identification checks and prepare risk assessments for new and existing matters.
• Carry out AML due‑diligence research, produce reports and answer related queries.
• Liaise with partners, fee earners and lawyers to resolve potential conflicts and gather additional information.
• Support stakeholders in client acceptance processes and contribute to software enhancements.
• Help develop best‑practice policies and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Knowledge of SRA conflicts rules and anti‑money‑laundering legislation.
• Experience with business intake systems and strong internet research skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate findings clearly.
