Compliance Partner

About the role

This role offers a step away from routine file checking to a broader, judgement‑driven compliance position. You will act as the primary compliance contact for a portfolio of appointed representative (AR) firms, providing oversight, coaching and risk‑focused advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated panel of AR firms, building relationships with principals and advisers.
• Conduct on‑site supervision visits and remote assessments to evaluate firm‑level risk, governance and control frameworks.
• Review adviser oversight, business practices and compliance processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Coach and influence firms to strengthen controls, rather than merely reporting issues.
• Prepare concise reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, regulatory oversight or risk management within financial services.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable planning and executing a mixed schedule of remote work and field visits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• £55,000 basic salary plus £6,000 car allowance.
