Compliance & Performance Manager

About the role

The Compliance & Performance Manager will lead the governance, assurance and performance framework for a major facilities management contract at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that contractual, statutory and quality obligations are met and evidentially documented.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the compliance and performance function across the Edinburgh account, managing contractual, statutory, quality, audit and governance obligations.
• Own the audit and assurance regime, covering statutory, service, commercial and SHEQ compliance.
• Prepare, coordinate and follow up internal and external audits, assigning actions and tracking close‑out.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual compliance and performance reports with high evidential standards.
• Validate performance data, challenge data quality and ensure robust corrective action management.
• Develop and continuously improve the account‑wide compliance and performance framework.

Required profile

• Significant experience in compliance, governance or audit within a facilities management or similar environment.
• Proven ability to lead senior‑level governance and assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of contractual and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a focus on evidence‑based decision making.

• Salary between £55,000 and £60,000 per annum.
