Composites Technician – Aerospace (Part‑time)

About the role

This newly created part‑time position sits within the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a leading aerospace innovator. You will be responsible for producing fibre‑based components and supporting hardware assembly across a diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture carbon‑fibre, glass‑fibre and aramid‑fibre components.
• Produce simple tooling, moulds and patterns using epoxy or foam‑based materials.
• Assist in the assembly of precision hardware.
• Interpret detailed drawings, surface‑finish specifications, tolerances and material requirements.

Required profile

• Strong engineering knowledge with experience in precision component assembly.
• Hands‑on experience in composites manufacturing, both theoretical and practical.
• Proven ability to follow assembly procedures and work to exacting standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of technical drawings and material properties.
