Compressor Service Engineer – Field Based (Scotland & North England)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compressor Service Engineer to work on a field‑based basis across Scotland and the North of England. You will join a specialist supplier of drives, motors, control systems and related industrial products, providing high‑end air‑compressed system services to critical industries.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a range of high‑end air‑compressed systems.
• Cover the whole of Scotland and the North of England, travelling to customer sites.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and install new equipment.
• Perform Written Scheme of Examination inspections and complete all required documentation.
• Work within a small team of Service Engineers and respond to occasional paid overtime call‑outs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer in the compressor or compressed‑air sector.
• Ability to build long‑term customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm, with occasional overtime.

Required skills

• Compressed air systems maintenance and repair.
• Fault diagnosis of air‑compressor equipment.
• Installation of compressed‑air equipment.
