Computer Science Teacher – 1-Year Fixed-Term (Key Stages 3‑4)

About the role

Quantum Scholars is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a 1‑year fixed‑term contract starting September 2026 at an outstanding all‑girls secondary school in South West London. You will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 and may also teach A‑Level Computer Science if you have the relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Computer Science curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop programming, computational thinking and digital literacy skills.
• Provide A‑Level Computer Science instruction where appropriate.
• Maintain high academic standards and support student confidence and curiosity.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and contribute to a thriving CS programme.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge in programming and computational thinking.
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to supporting every student’s potential.
• Full right to work in the UK.
