Computer Science Teacher – Full‑time in Medway

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Computer Science Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Medway. The role starts in April 2026 and covers Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a new generation of digital learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Computer Science lessons across KS3‑5.
• Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the ICT/Computing department to develop curriculum resources.
• Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Passion for computing and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities.
• Experience in secondary education is desirable, but early‑career teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the UK Computer Science curriculum for KS3‑5.
• Ability to use ICT resources and classroom technology effectively.
• Lesson planning, assessment and marking proficiency.
