Philosophy Education Ltd is partnering with a secondary school in Folkestone, Kent to recruit a passionate Computer Science Teacher for the September 2026 start. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, fostering a love for computing and digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and Computing across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and deliver interactive lessons that develop programming and computational thinking.
• Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Support learners of varying abilities.
• Collaborate with departmental colleagues.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computer Science or Computing in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology.
• Ability to inspire and support diverse learners.
