Concrete Batcher – Ready‑Mix Production & Dispatch

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Concrete Batcher to join a growing construction materials organisation. You will be responsible for producing, dispatching and delivering high‑quality ready‑mix concrete while ensuring safety, efficiency and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Follow work orders to batch and dispatch ready‑mix concrete safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material stock levels and arrange replenishment when required.
• Carry out routine daily inspections, maintenance checks and housekeeping.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records using company systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and material movements.
• Maintain compliance with BSI standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in construction, haulage, aggregate or ready‑mix concrete environments.
• Full driving licence (full training provided).
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
• Well‑organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively.
