Conformance Manager / Business Partner – Airbus Supply Chain

About the role

Join Airbus Broughton as a Conformance Manager / Business Partner, acting as the primary liaison between the company and its suppliers. You will help maintain the smooth operation of the wing production supply chain by driving supplier performance, resolving quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the operational interface for quality and supply‑chain activities between Airbus and suppliers.
• Lead immediate containment of supplier quality issues on the plant and final assembly line.
• Work with suppliers to implement containment actions and investigate root causes.
• Collaborate with operational and quality teams to define liability and enforce corrective measures.
• Monitor, analyse and report supplier quality performance using KPIs.
• Support production continuity during quality‑related disruptions.
• Coordinate inspection requirements and manage enhanced inspection controls.
• Lead supplier performance reviews, recovery activities and claims support.
• Assist in deploying procurement digital initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in supplier quality management or procurement within an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and with external suppliers.
• Clear communication skills and the capacity to influence stakeholders.
