Consolidation Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified finance professional to lead the accurate and timely consolidation and reporting of our global financial results in line with IFRS. Working closely with regional controllers, treasury and other finance stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity of group financial statements across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly and year‑end group consolidation process for all legal entities.
• Review regional financial submissions, investigate variances and ensure completeness of consolidated results.
• Prepare and post consolidation journals, including intercompany eliminations, in accordance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Prepare and analyse the consolidated group cash‑flow statement using the indirect method.
• Produce consolidated reporting packs for the Board, auditors and lenders, reconciling to management financial information.
• Partner with Treasury to validate cash balances, movements and understand liquidity drivers.
• Draft management papers and technical accounting memos to support statutory audits.
• Assist with the assessment and implementation of new or amended IFRS standards.
• Maintain consolidation data integrity within Oracle FCCS and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group financial reporting.
