Construction Associate (3-5 years PQE) – Non‑Contentious

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Associate with 3‑5 years of post‑qualification experience to join a well‑established law firm’s non‑contentious construction team. The role offers the chance to work on a variety of construction matters, develop specialist legal expertise and benefit from structured training and career development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on non‑contentious construction contracts and projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate construction agreements, variations and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal project teams to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Support senior counsel on contentious matters when required.
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of developments in construction law.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years PQE in a construction law role.
• Experience in a similar non‑contentious construction environment.
• Exposure to contentious construction matters is advantageous but not essential.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and able to work collaboratively.
