Construction Contracts Manager (Highways/Civils/Infrastructure)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to lead multiple highways, civil engineering and infrastructure contracts across the South East of England. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of several construction contracts from inception to completion.
• Ensure all works comply with HSEQ standards, client specifications and relevant regulations.
• Lead and support site teams, fostering a strong health and safety culture.
• Maintain accurate project records, inspections, quality documentation and contract reporting.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Travel to various sites throughout the South East as required.

Required profile

• Background as a Construction Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Engineer within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality assurance and HSEQ compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification (preferred).
• NRSWA qualification (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• HSEQ compliance expertise.
