Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to join our team in Surrey. You will be responsible for overseeing contract administration across multiple residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and sub‑contracts for a portfolio of projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external suppliers to align timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Monitor contract performance, manage variations and claims, and track costs against budgets.
• Produce accurate reports for senior management and maintain compliance with UK construction legislation, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction contract management, including drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Strong project administration abilities, with a focus on budgets, schedules, variations, and risk management.
• Knowledge of UK construction regulations, contract law, and standard forms such as JCT and NEC.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, law, or a related field; certifications like RICS or CIOB are a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality‑focused residential or commercial projects.
