Construction Labourer – Bishop Auckland (Contract)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable construction labourer to join a high‑profile commercial project in Bishop Auckland. This contract role offers an immediate start on a fast‑paced site where safety and efficiency are paramount.
Key responsibilities
- Assist various trades such as steel fixers, groundworkers and fit‑out teams.
- Move heavy materials and equipment safely across the site.
- Maintain a clean, hazard‑free working environment.
- Support site deliveries and organise storage areas.
- Carry out general site maintenance and waste clearance.
- Follow strict on‑site health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Previous experience on commercial or industrial construction sites.
- Full PPE (hard hat, high‑visibility clothing, steel‑toe boots).
- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow detailed site inductions.
- Access to transport for the Bishop Auckland area.
Required skills
- CSCS card certification.
