Construction Liability Director

About the role

The International Construction & Engineering Unit is seeking an experienced Director to lead the handling of high‑value construction liability losses, typically above £750,000. You will join a quality‑focused team managing some of the most complex claims while serving as a referral point for colleagues handling general construction liability matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve construction liability losses exceeding £750,000, with many cases above £1 million.
• Provide expert guidance and act as a referral resource for colleagues dealing with general construction liability claims.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure best practices across the division’s most complex loss portfolios.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of specialised experience in construction liability losses.
• Proven ability to handle high‑value claims (typically >£1 million).
• Formal qualifications such as CII or CILA are preferred.
