Construction Manager – Building Envelope

About the role

This position offers an experienced Construction Manager the chance to lead the delivery of the external building envelope package on a flagship advanced‑manufacturing development. You will work alongside a seasoned project delivery team on one of the UK’s most technically complex construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete building envelope package, including cladding, façade, roofing and associated external works.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless package integration and on‑time delivery.
• Oversee specialist subcontractors, drive the programme and monitor progress against key milestones.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and installation methodologies for compliance.
• Lead quality inspections, snagging and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Package Manager, Senior Site Manager, Façade or Cladding Manager.
• Strong background delivering large‑scale envelope packages on major construction projects.
• Main contractor experience on complex, mission‑critical sites such as data centres, industrial or pharmaceutical facilities.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and programme management abilities.
• Ability to work on long‑term, high‑value projects across the UK and Europe.
