Construction Manager

About the role

Walter Lilly is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the reservicing and renovation of some of London’s most prestigious historic and landmark buildings. You will oversee projects from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations on complex heritage and landmark projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site teams to achieve efficient delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations.
• Monitor programme performance, identify and mitigate risks, delays and site challenges.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on heritage or high‑profile building projects.
• Ability to manage projects from pre‑construction to handover while maintaining safety, budget and quality.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
