Construction Manager – London Site

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Construction Manager to lead high‑profile schemes across London. You will join a respected main contractor that delivers complex cut‑and‑carve, luxury refurbishment and CAT A/B projects for discerning clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through to handover.
• Manage commercial build and fit‑out works, ensuring design and engineering excellence.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractor performance and on‑site health & safety.
• Deliver projects within budget and schedule for values ranging from £30m to £60m.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects in the UK market.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously on site and collaborate with architects, engineers and clients.
• Motivation to progress into senior leadership within a fast‑growing contractor.

Required skills

• Expertise in commercial build and fit‑out delivery.
• Knowledge of cut‑and‑carve, CAT A and CAT B construction methodologies.
• Understanding of procurement processes and contract administration.
