Construction Manager – Residential & Mixed-Use Projects

About the role

This site‑based Management position sits within Stone Bathwear’s project delivery team. It requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver residential and mixed‑use developments safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction activities across a programme of residential and mixed‑use new‑build projects.
• Coordinate internal and external project teams, including consultants, advisors and subcontractors.
• Review drawings and designs, and create or amend RAMS, logistic plans, Scope of Works, contract variations and delay/site reports.
• Monitor programmes, provide weekly updates and maintain continuous communication with the client and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct technical audits to optimise construction approaches in collaboration with the design team.
• Oversee parking, testing, snagging, de‑snagging and final handover procedures, ensuring all documentation is completed and approved.
• Ensure health and safety compliance through method statements, HSQE meetings, toolbox talks, site walks, reports and RAMS reviews.
• Utilise construction management software such as Excel, ASTA, MS Project, Fieldview, Aconex and Datascope.
• Plan equipment and material delivery, access requirements and design management to avoid delays.
• Manage project completion and handover to the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction or project management roles, preferably on residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Strong leadership and influencing abilities to drive commercial delivery.
• Excellent coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and H&S audit processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, site managers and subcontractors.
