Construction Manager (Site Supervisor)

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is looking for a Construction Manager (Site Supervisor) in London. You will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction activities, keeping the project safe, organised and on programme while working closely with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and trade interfaces in line with the construction programme
• Maintain a positive health, safety and environmental culture by setting clear standards and addressing risks early
• Monitor progress, site logistics and upcoming works, escalate issues and help keep delivery on track
• Work with subcontractors and consultants to confirm readiness, resolve site issues and keep communication effective
• Complete quality checks, support defects resolution and help achieve a high-quality handover

Required profile

• Experience coordinating construction delivery on building projects
• Qualifications in Building, Construction or Engineering
• Practical understanding of site operations, construction methodology, programme coordination and quality assurance
• Ability to build productive relationships with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders
• Appropriate health and safety qualifications and experience, with a proactive approach to compliance and risk
