Construction Manager – UK&I Design & Construction

About the role

Amazon’s Construction Execution team is seeking a Construction Manager to support defined‑scope construction projects for delivery stations and fulfillment centres across EMEA. Based in the UK, you will split your time between office work and travel (approximately 50%) to sites in the UK and other European countries, gaining hands‑on experience in large‑scale infrastructure expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of construction projects across EMEA.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to meet project milestones.
• Track budgets, monitor costs and identify risks.
• Conduct on‑site construction meetings and provide comprehensive project updates.
• Assist with site due diligence, design development and permit applications.
• Coordinate technical design reviews and maintain pre‑construction documentation.
• Apply construction best practices and industry standards.
• Contribute to project documentation and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience planning, managing and delivering documentation across multiple teams.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, read) and able to take direction in English.
