Construction Project Manager – Bedfordshire

About the role

The Facilities department at Gold Group Ltd is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to lead a new industrial construction project in Bedfordshire. You will act as the primary liaison between the client, consultant and contractor, ensuring the project meets high standards, stays on schedule and remains within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and collaborate with all project stakeholders, including client, consultant and contractor.
• Administer contractor and consultant meetings, maintaining clear communication.
• Monitor progress to ensure each stage is completed on time, on budget and to required quality.
• Record, monitor and report progress to the wider facilities team and LMUK Ampthill Project team.
• Verify construction activities align with the approved brief.
• Review, challenge and approve contractor invoices based on work completed.
• Identify and resolve unexpected issues, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Ability to manage project budgets, timescales and scope variations.
• Eligibility to hold SC (Security Check) clearance.
