Construction Project Manager – Bicester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a nationwide chartered surveying practice operating in Oxfordshire. The role is client‑facing, involves regular site visits and the opportunity to progress to a Commercial Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, coordinate labour, resources and activities across multiple teams.
• Manage a team of approximately 10 engineers, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Conduct site visits across Oxfordshire and attend daily office hours (Mon‑Fri, 8:30‑16:30).
• Monitor budgets, prepare financial reports and liaise with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven background in construction project management.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Willingness to commute to the Bicester office and travel to sites in the local patch.
• Motivation to undertake further training and qualifications funded by the employer.
