Construction Project Manager

About the role

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join its Facilities team. Based in London, the role involves overseeing new clinic builds across the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver construction projects from feasibility and design through construction to handover.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, risk registers and procurement plans.
• Monitor progress, address delays, cost overruns and risks, and take corrective action as needed.
• Travel regularly to sites across the UK and Ireland.
• Lead project, site and progress meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC), approve payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations and company policies.
• Oversee quality inspections, snagging, commissioning and handover processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects in the UK and Ireland.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently to multiple sites.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and building regulations.

• 40‑hour week, Monday‑Friday schedule (08:40‑17:20 or extended days Monday‑Thursday with half‑day Friday).
