Construction Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Solicitor to join our growing construction team in Manchester city centre. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious construction matters across a variety of sectors, working alongside experienced construction lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle non‑contentious construction work and advise on standard form building contracts.
• Manage contentious construction disputes and provide litigation support.
• Draft and negotiate construction documentation for engineering and development projects.
• Support clients throughout the lifecycle of development and engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, newly qualified and upwards.
• Experience in construction law, either contentious, non‑contentious or a mix.
• Strong drafting and communication abilities.
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to client advice.
• Organised with keen attention to detail and ambition to develop a construction law career.
