Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a non‑contentious Construction Solicitor to join its Glasgow practice. This is a hybrid‑working position offering the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of public‑sector, developer and contractor projects, ranging from renewable energy to commercial real estate.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on procurement processes for construction projects.
• Prepare and review contract packages for employers, developers, contractors and consultants.
• Negotiate terms of contracts, appointments and warranty packages.
• Provide strategic guidance throughout project delivery and liaise directly with a wide variety of clients.

Required profile

• Approximately 2+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in construction law.
• Strong technical drafting capability across construction contracts and appointments.
• Confident communication with a range of client types.
• Ability to manage a varied workload while meeting client expectations.
• Interest in sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure and real estate.
