Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious)

About the role

This position offers a Construction Solicitor role focused on non‑contentious matters within a leading UK law firm. You will work on high‑profile development and infrastructure projects, advising a diverse client base that includes public and private sector employers, contractors, developers and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate standard form construction contracts such as JCT, NEC and MF/1.
• Prepare and negotiate consultant appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, guarantees and novation agreements.
• Advise on development agreements, funding agreements, leases and related project documentation.
• Support clients across commercial, residential, infrastructure, logistics and engineering projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a recognised construction practice.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and deliver high‑quality client service.
• Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach.
• Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
